The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts is proud to announce the 2012-2013 Stage Doors Education Series, providing learning opportunities for students throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.
The 2012-2013 season kicks off in October 2012 and extends through April 2013, featuring 11 titles and a total of 21 performances. Programs are selected to complement current classroom curriculum with creative and imaginative learning, critical thinking opportunities and live performance experiences. Performance-specific study guides are provided to help educators integrate show topics into classroom activities.
Expanded this year is an ongoing educational partnership with Heritage Hill State Historical Park in Allouez. Two events in the series, We the People and The Civil War, will offer opportunities for students to experience a full day of learning activities at both the Weidner Center and Heritage Hill.
