2013-2014 Stage Doors Education Series Announced

(Green Bay, WI) – The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts is proud to announce the 2013-2014 Stage Doors Education Series, providing learning opportunities for students throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

The 2013-2014 series kicks off in October 2013 and extends through April 2014, featuring 10 titles and a total of 19 performances. Programs are selected to complement current classroom curriculum with creative and imaginative learning, critical thinking opportunities and live performance experiences. Performance-specific study guides are provided to help educators integrate show topics into classroom activities.

New this year is an educational partnership with The Children’s Museum of Green Bay.  Three events in the series, The Monster Who Ate My Peas, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt and Henry and Mudge, will offer opportunities for students to experience a full day of learning activities at both the Weidner Center and the Children’s Museum.
