Perhaps no work of classical music is as awe-inspiring as Beethoven’s ninth symphony with its “Ode to Joy” refrain sung by a 200-voice choir. Expect goosebumps! Even more amazing – this crowning masterpiece of Beethoven’s career was composed as he was almost completely deaf!

And if you like classical vocals you won’t want to miss nationally-known mezzo-soprano Kelley O’ Connor as she sings Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody.

This powerful combination is a deserving way to wrap up our 100th season of great music.
