Join us for our biennial performance of Handel’s Messiah, featuring a new twist this year – audience members will be able to sing along with the choruses of this beloved work. The UWGB Choral Ensembles, Green Bay Choral Artists, and Festival Orchestra will be joined on the stage by choirs from Algoma, Sevastopol, and Southern Door High Schools, along with UWGB Alumni soloists.
Bring your own printed score, or download one here. We recommend the Novello (Watkins Shaw) edition, but any edition will do! Audience members who plan to sing may choose to sit in designated voice sections (soprano, alto, tenor or bass), a mixed voice section or, if preferred, with family and friends anywhere in the audience. Those who do not wish to sing may sit in any non-designated area of the concert hall.
Please Note: The concert is will last approximately 80 minutes and will be performed without an intermission. Seating is general admission. Music scores will not be sold at the concert. Smart devices such as tablets and iPads will be allowed in the concert hall to view the score. Although complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the Weidner Center, we recommend that you download the score to your device in advance.
