“A musical sensation from Austria” wrote The Berlin Tagesspiegel of the young Minetti Quartett’s debut at the Berlin Philharmonie in 2009. The Minetti Quartett has collected more important prizes than any ensemble since 2003. The “European Rising Star Series” presented the Minetti Quartett on the stages of the prestigious concert halls throughout Europe. Die Presse in Vienna summed it up after one of those concerts: “The youthful freshness of the quartet’s interpretations charms audiences. They are top musicians with spirit and dedication at work who charge the music of the classic and romantic periods with energy for the new millennium.”
The Minetti Quartett is joined by distinguished guest pianist Andreas Klein who is quoted by The New York Times as “A fascinating artist with all the indispensable qualities: temperament, taste, touch, tone, the four T’s of pianism.” Klein has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls across the globe, including London’s Wigmore Hall, Berlin’s Philharmonic Hall, New York’s Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Recently he has collaborated and toured in the U.S. with the prominent ensembles such as the Luzerne Festival Strings from Switzerland, the Salzburg Chamber Soloists and Cuarteto Casals.
