Youth: (ages 7-18) - $15; (6 and under) - $9 The Green Bay Symphony Orchestra, led by Music Director Donato Cabrera, will perform three captivating works of enduring classical music including Beethoven's Egmont Overture and Symphony No. 8 and Brahms' Violin Concerto, featuring soloist Leor Maltinski.
Guest artist Leor Maltinski occupies the Isaac Stern Chair in the first violinist section with the San Francisco Symphony. Born in Tel Aviv, Maltinski studied in Florence before moving to the United States to continue his musical education at the Curtis Institute and Indiana University in Bloomington. He’s the winner of prestigious international violin competitions, presents numerous violin recitals annually and performs with orchestras throughout the U.S. and Europe.
The upcoming season marks the Orchestra's 99th anniversary year and Cabrera's second year as the Orchestra's 10th music director.
