Season 7 winner of the singing competition reality TV show, The Voice, Craig Wayne Boyd, will kick off his 2018 tour at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, for his first Green Bay appearance. The lobby doors open at 6 pm and the show begins at 7:30 pm with the Sam Morrison Band, a southern rock group from California.

A native of Mesquite, Texas, Craig Wayne Boyd auditioned for the 2014 season of The Voice with a rendition of “The Whiskey Ain’t Workin’” by Marty Stuart and Travis Tritt. The Sam Morrison Band will open the night with hits including, “You Bet: The Pete Rose Song,” “I Will Always Stand,” “Deal Me In” and “Peace Keepers.”
