Building Information

If you have a special need, please inform your Ticket Office representative when purchasing tickets. We will be happy to assist you in arranging any services you require to make your visit enjoyable.

Sound Enhancement

The Weidner Center uses a Sound Enhancement System to amplify stage dialogue. Assistive Listening Sets are available for no charge at Coat Check. A driver's license or major credit card is required. Hearing loops and headsets may be used in any seat in the theatre (216.025 MHz).

Wheelchair Accessibility

  • All facilities are wheelchair accessible; please discuss seating needs when ordering tickets.
  • Patrons may request to be met at the Main Entrance by a staff member with a wheelchair.
  • Automatic door openers are located at the Main, Bus Canopy and Southwest Entrances.
  • Restrooms with automatic door openers are located on east and west sides of the Orchestra level.
  • Valet parking is $4 for patrons requiring accessible parking; based upon availability. Vehicle must have handicap plates, tag or sticker.

Power Outage: If the power goes out during a performance, the emergency lighting system will be activated. Patrons should remain seated and await instructions from House Management.

Weather Emergency: In the event of severe or threatening weather, an announcement will be made. If a tornado warning is issued, the safest place to be is inside the performance hall away from windows and glass. House Management will keep you informed and let you know when the emergency has passed.

Injuries: If you have an accident or need medical attention, please contact House Management immediately. Our trained staff is on hand to assist you.

Fire Alarms: The Weidner Center is equipped with stateĀof-the-art smoke and fire monitoring systems. At times, the fire alarms may be activated by fog and smoke machines used on stage during performances. If the alarm system sounds, please:

  • Wait for instructions from House Management.
  • If evacuation is necessary, you will be directed to WALK to the closest exit.
  • The Exit Sign nearest your seat is the shortest and safest route to the outside of the building. In the event of an emergency, walk to that exit; an usher will assist you.

Free, secure and well-lit parking is available in the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay parking lots around the Weidner Center. In addition, valet parking is available for most performances at a cost of $8 per vehicle. Valet parking is $4 for patrons requiring handicap accessible parking. Vehicle must have handicap plates, tag or sticker. Valet service is not available for Fort Howard Hall performances; instead, a convenient drop-off location is located at the back canopy entrance.

Restrooms are located on the east and west sides of the Orchestra Lobby and on the east side of the Mezzanine and Lower Balcony Lobbies.

Elevators are located on the east and west sides of the Weidner Center.

On a performance day, the ticket windows at the Weidner Center will open 90 minutes prior to the performance time. Tickets may also be purchased online at tickerstaronline.com or 1-800-895-0071 or at any Ticket Star location. Every individual, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
