Welcome to the Weidner
The Edward W. Weidner Center for the Performing Arts is known for its elegant design and the acoustic excellence of its 2,021-seat main theatre, Cofrin Family Hall. We also house two smaller performance spaces, Fort Howard Hall and Jean Weidner Theatre, along with a dance studio and Grand Foyer.
Located on the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Campus, The Weidner is a home for UW-Green Bay Music and Theatre & Dance programs, community events, and performances by visiting artists and touring companies. The Weidner also focuses on scholastic development with our impactful education series – Stage Doors.
Mission & Vision
The Mission of The Weidner is to present a wide variety of cultural, entertainment, and educational performing arts to the Northeastern Wisconsin community while also serving as a home for local and University performing arts.
The Vision of The Weidner is to create a place for members of the community to be entertained and enriched. It is also the recognition that The Weidner is not just a place, but a program that evolves as the face of the community changes and diversifies.
